THE CHALLENGE
Audi issued an RFP for an experiential activation. An iconic brand partnership. A national dealer meeting. But the ask was too narrow. A one-time event wouldn't build equity. It wouldn't travel. It wouldn't justify the investment in a prestige partnership.
THE INSIGHT
They didn't need an event. They needed a storytelling platform. HBO Go as the brand partner unlocked everything — IP library, A-list talent, prestige by association. "Truth Be Bold" as the platform aligned with Audi's "Truth in Engineering." Personal progress stories. Episodic content. Infinite activations.
THE WORK
We pitched the branded content series. Truth Be Bold: stories revealing the inner truths behind personal progress. Launch at the dealer meeting with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Then extend the platform — web series, social, events. HBO Go gave us the arsenal. We gave them the strategy.
THE IMPACT
We didn't win. But VW Group remembered. A year later, they invited Momentum to pitch Bentley. That pitch became a three-year global platform. Sometimes solving for the need instead of the ask wins you the next fight.
